Scholar Athletes, Inc. and Slam N Jam present the third annual Northern California Super 100 Basketball Camp to be held on October 6th and 7th at the Recreational Sports Facility on the University of California, Berkeley campus. A select group of the top 100 prep boys basketball players from all over Northern California have been selected to participate. The group will include the top freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

Non-profit organization Scholar Athletes, Inc./Slam N Jam in conjunction with several high schools and other organizations are the catalyst for this event. The Super 100 is a unique event that would provide 100 high school student athletes with an extremely valuable weekend of personal development both on and off the court while providing a forum to learn and compete with the best players in Northern California.

Both days will run from 9AM to 6PM where student-athletes will play a series of structured games, participate in skill development sessions, attend a college recruiting workshop, receive SAT/NCAA Clearinghouse information, and study academic and life skills in a classroom setting. The Super 100 will provide participates with some specific tools that can help them reach their individual goals of playing college basketball and receiving a college degree.

The first event was run two years ago as the Bay Area Super 60, which included prep boys exclusively from the Bay Area. The requests for this type of event have been overwhelming, and as a result the event has expanded. With the help of other organizations, the Super 100 now will include student-athletes throughout Northern California.
