The class of 2020 is in the infancy of their projection and recruitment, but 2020 Antelope/Sacramento Magic power forward Coleman Hawkins is a player to be reckoned with.
While he didn’t face another true big, Hawkins displayed some key skills in his game. He has a very projectable frame at 6-foot-6, good hands, is a legitimate rim protector and has a good motor to stay in the action. Hawkins made a nice move for a right handed hook and knocked down a couple of threes as an emerging part of his game.
The stretch four is a good athlete who isn’t on the 10 player watch list for the class of 2020, but could find himself in the 8-12 range when the class gets its initial ranking next month.
Hawkins didn’t play varsity basketball last year, but could be in the mix this season with Antelope graduating four of its top five scorers and had just two players 6-foot-6 or taller.
