What is a Premium Ticket?Premium Ticket is a subscription-based content service on college team and recruiting sites throughout the Rivals.com Network. Premium Ticket allows users access to a greater range of stories, recruiting updates, exclusive articles and features. Most plans include access to a site's Premium Boards, and many plans also include access to premium info from the Rivals.com Recruiting Experts and to the Rivals.com Prospect Database.
What is a Special Edition?Special Edition is a collection of more specialized premium content, requiring a separate subscription plan. Examples of Special Edition plans include Rivals.com AMP, StudentSports.com, or TeamOneBaseball.com. Some Special Edition plans offer access to that site's premium boards and to advanced search tools on the Prospect Database or Minor League Database. See each plan description for details.
How can I tell which stories are Premium stories?Premium Ticket stories are marked with a blue ticket logo. These are stories published by the Rivals.com Recruiting Experts, or by a team site or high school site on the Rivals.com network. Blue-ticket stories require an Ultimate Ticket to ANY site on the Rivals.com network. Special Edition stories are marked with their own unique icons. Premium Ticket subscriptions do NOT give access to Special Edition content, and vice versa. See details on each site about their Special Edition packages.
I've subscribed to my team site, but there are some premium stories there that I can't access. Why?Team sites might be displaying Special Edition content, or content from the Rivals.com Recruiting Experts, or even premium content from other team sites! In order to access Special Edition content, you'll need a Special Edition subscription that covers that content. In order to access Recruiting content, you will need a Recruiting Pass or Ultimate Ticket subscription to any site. To Access premium content from a different team site, you will need either a subscription to that team site, or an Ultimate Ticket subscription on any site.
Can I subscribe to my favorite recruiting site only? All Premium Ticket subscriptions are processed at the team site level. You can go through the signup process on your favorite recruiting site, but you will be asked to pick a team site to assign your subscription. You'll get all the access on that team site that you would enjoy if you had subscribed there. Remember, Premium Ticket content by our Rivals.com Recruiting Experts is available to Ultimate Ticket subscribers!
Does my Ultimate Ticket subscription include all premium boards? No. Ultimate Ticket subscribers have access to the premium boards only on the site the subscription is with . Users who wish to have access to premium boards on multiple sites will need to have separate subscriptions for each site. Ultimate Ticket subscribers DO have access to all Premium Ticket CONTENT on all sites, however.
How do I sign up for Premium Boards?Premium message boards are included with a Team Ticket or Ultimate Ticket subscription to the site with the message board you would like to access.
If I am a paying subscriber, can I still be banned from a board?Site publishers and administrators can ban anyone whom they deem to be disruptive or offensive to the community, and this includes paying subscribers. Premium Boards are intended to promote a high level of discussion, and the nature of each community and its standards are wholly defined by the site's publisher. Being banned from ANY board on a site will ban you from that site's premium boards, as well, even if you are a paying member.
Why have I been "blacklisted"?Message boards are managed and moderated by your site's administrators. They are responsible for all blacklisting issues. Blacklisting questions should go directly to these administrators. You can contact them by going to the site contact information listed on the Left Navigation area of your site.
If I am banned from a board, is my subscription cancelled?Only a user can make changes to his or her subscription, including cancellation. If you are banned, your subscription is not cancelled, and thus you still have access to whatever premium content comes with the plan.
Will my login from a different site work on Premium Ticket?Your Rivals.com username and password are recognized on ANY Rivals.com site, although your subscription may or may not give you access to a given site's premium content or premium boards. However, usernames and passwords from sites outside the Rivals.com network do not work on Rivals.com. If your site joins the Rivals.com network, details about converting memberships or paid subscriptions will be available on the site.
What's the difference between a username and a nickname?Your username is used ONLY for logging in, in combination with your password. Your nickname is your "handle" on the message boards. When you post a message, your nickname is automatically listed. You may change your username and your password whenever you like, but your nickname is permanent and mat not be changed.
How do I change my nickname or email address? For security purposes only Rivals.com has the authority to change this information. Simply contact us toll free at 1-866-2-Rivals between 8:00AM - 5:00PM CST, Monday through Friday, and we'll be happy to assist you.
Do message boards and premium content have different logins?Rivals.com has created a "universal registration" system. Once a user establishes an account, their username and password can be used for all of our many services. Therefore, if you already have a login for a free message forum, that same username and password can be used to gain access to the Premium Ticket once you have completed our simple premium signup process.
My username and password don't work. What should I do?Be sure you are typing your username and password exactly as sent to you in your subscription notification email. If the login still does not work, use the resend password link on the Member Services page to have your username and password sent to your registered email account. If the resend link recognizes your email address, it means that your account is active and 100% operational. If your email address is not recognized by this tool, it is likely that your account is not currently valid.
Why am I being asked to login everytime I go to a new page? This may be an issue with the security settings on your browser not accepting cookies. Our login system uses cookies to 'remember' your user info so you don't have to re-login every time you view different content on Rivals. Please go to your browser's Tools folder and click on Internet Options to verify your settings are correct. If you need help adjusting your settings click here for specific instructions.
I'm told there's already an account using my email address. What do I do?With Rivals.com's "universal registration" system, you only ever need one account, with one username and password. If you've ever registered with us before, whether or not you've paid for a subscription -- to post on the free message boards, for instance -- then you are already a member. You won't need to create a second membership to sign up for Premium Ticket or Special Edition. So make sure that you've logged in FIRST, then subscribe. Your one membership (and your one login and one password) will give you access to all the free content PLUS all the content that you've paid for.
I heard about a free trial. How do I get my free access? Some Rivals sites occasionally offer promotional free trial memberships to the Premium Ticket service. Subscribers that sign up for a free trial membership will be automatically renewed at the normal subscription rate at the end of the trial period, unless the Subscriber cancels at least 48 hours before the end of the trial.
Only one free trial period is allowed per subscriber. Subsequent subscriptions do not qualify for free trials.
Some Rivals sites may offer coupons or other promotional offers from time to time. In these situations, a special discounted price may be applicable for a term, followed by a higher price after the initial promotional term. By subscribing, you agree that you will be responsible for all payments as specified in the offer, and you agree that Rivals may adjust the pricing of such plans, as specified in the offer, promotional materials or coupon, without notice or other communication to you.
I am interested in upgrading my subscription. How can I do this? This discounted rate gives you access for an entire year at a 20% savings. If you have any questions feel free to contact our member services team at 1-866-2-RIVALS.
Member Services can be reached toll free at 1-866-2-RIVALS Monday-Friday from 8:00- 5:00 CST.
