Wallace names Colorado his favorite school
Buhach (Calif.) Colony safety L.J. Wallace's recruiting process is starting to heat up. He's up to five division one offers with four coming from the Mountain West Conference and one from the Pac-12.
"Recruiting has been going good," Wallace said. "I'm staying on my grind with homework and finals. I'm also training a lot more to get in shape and get ready for the season."
Colorado is the Pac-12 school that has offered Wallace as the Buffs offered the 6-foot-3, 185-pound cornerback one week ago. The Buffs jump right to the top of Wallace's list as his favorite school.
"They've been scouting me since my sophomore year, and then they kind of fell off," Wallace explained. "Once I started getting offers, they hit me up again and came to my school for another visit. They said they were really impressed by me, and a couple of weeks later, they offered me."
Over the course of the last several months, Wallace has been in touch with quality control coach Daniel DaPrato, quarterbacks coach Brian Lindgren, and he's even talked with head coach Mike MacIntyre.
