Folsom sophomore point guard Jordan Ford has drawn plenty of attention for his fast start in leading the Bulldogs to a 16-2 start. NCP caught the underclassman for the first time this season last week in a 79-38 win over Sheldon.

Playing distributor more than scorer, Ford finished with 11 points on 4-for-6 shooting. He made both of his three point attempts. He tallied three rebounds and had three turnovers. Coming into the Delta River League opener, he was averaging 21 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals per game.
Ford didn't force his scoring game and found his niche in the offensive attack, which knocked down 12 three pointers. He handles it well, runs a team very well, and plays with a calm demeanor.
On his three point attempts, his first make came off a curl screen where he went up quickly from the left wing. His second make was in the pick and roll. He waited for the defender to pass him before loading up on his shot. He has a good floater game, but missed on his only attempt.
Ford holds offers from UTEP and Cal State Northridge. He is entrenched as a mid-major point guard with the chance to be a high major if he has development over the next two years.
