Open Division and Division I:Winners from North Coast Section Division I, Central Coast Section Open Division, Sac-Joaquin Section Divisions I and II will make up the four entrants in these two games. De La Salle and Folsom are the favorites to reach the Open Division game if they win their sections. Any other results would cause shuffling. There are a couple of key results to watch for if the favorites lose.
Granite Bay beat Del Oro, which gave Logan its only loss of the year.
Granite Bay beat Franklin in the SJS Division I playoffs. Elk Grove's only loss this year was to Franklin in league play.
If Oak Ridge and Elk Grove win, Elk Grove would have beaten Folsom in the finals after Oak Ridge fell to the Bulldogs in the regular season.
If Logan beats De La Salle, it will have the edge on Bellarmine Prep. The Bells lost to De La Salle in the season opener.
Division II: It is a clean final four in Division II. The winner of NCS Division II (Rancho Cotate-Clayton Valley) will play the winner of SJS Division III (Oakdale-Vista del Lago).
Division III: The winner of NCS Division III on Saturday night between Marin Catholic and El Cerrito will reach the regional bowl game. Escalon would have a case if it beats Central Catholic on Saturday, but Sutter is the pick at 13-0 and winner of Northern Section Division II.
Division IV: Central Catholic is the top seed and will make the regional bowl game with a win over Escalon in the SJS Division IV title game. Ferndale should be locked into a spot in the regional game with McClymonds moving in if Central Catholic falls.
