Hammoudeh eyes D2

American Canyon center Yacoub Hammoudeh has yet to recieve a scholarship offer, but knows exactly where he wants his football career to continue.
"I know where i want to play, but they haven't offered me," Hammoudeh said. "I want to play at Humboldt State, but I need to get my grades up."

Hammoudeh attended a lineman camp at Humboldt State over the summer and felt really comfortable with the campus and the coaching staff. "(Offensive line coach Fred Kelley) said he really likes me and I'm up there, but I don't know (if an offer will come."
If an offer never comes Hammoudeh said he has a few options. The 6-foot-3, 260 pound center said a few Division III schools have talked to him about playing there, but he would likely walk on at Humboldt State or play at Diablo Valley College and then transfer.
Hammoudeh believes his speed is an asset, but if he opts for the junior college route he understands that he will have a few things to improve upon at DVC. "I just need to work on my hands and my feet a little bit more," Hammoudeh said. "I also need to stay lower since I'm tall."
