Four ranked teams lost on Friday

In a game featuring teams with NorCal titles in their history, Oakdale beat No. 17 Campolindo (28-21) in Moraga. The Mustangs have won two straight after dropping the season opener to rival Sonora.

Senior running back William Semone rushed for more than 200 yards and three touchdowns with his final touchdown being the game winner with less than two minutes left. While Oakdale focused on the ground, Campolindo looked to attack through the air with long range attempts. Senior quarterback Jacob Westphal had three touchdown passes for the Cougars, which fell to 2-2.

Campolindo plays Hayward next week in the non-league finale. Oakdale will start Valley Oak League play against Sierra.
