Cabuena serving notice in freshman season

Lincoln freshman forward Annalillia Cabuena has been one of the most intriguing freshman in the region.

The 6-foot-0 forward is a solid shot blocker and rebounder who can play on the the perimeter defensively. Cabuena has had at least eight blocks three times this season. Her length and agility allow her to guard the ball.

Offensively, she has flashed the ability to score in the mid-range and at the three point line, but her shooting numbers have lagged this year at less than 30 percent. Cabuena can also handle the ball some.

The 2021 prospect is averaging seven points, six rebounds and nearly three blocks per game.

Cabuena will need to find shooting consistency and develop strength, but the early signs are a promising prospect to follow.
