Alexander awaits offer

With a basketball in his hands, Weston Ranch guard Dylan Alexander can score. The 6-foot-3, 175 pound senior is averaging 18.6 points per game and had a season high 40 point game earlier this season.
However, Alexander's ability to light up high school scoreboards has not translated into a lot of recruitment activity.

"It's been pretty quiet for me lately," Alexander said. "Chico State has contacted me a lot. Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Denver (have also talked to me)."
Alexander tries not to worry or stress about his recruitment during the season and would rather wait until the high school basketball season concludes before making up his mind about the next step.
"I want to see how things play out for my high school before I can focus on my future," Alexander said.
Alexander will spend more time thinking about college basketball after his current season ends, but he already has an idea of what he is looking for in a college.
"(I want to see) how close the coaching staff is with the players and how they interact with each other," Alexander said. "(I also want to see) what type of offense they run, the style of play and where I will fit in."
