Campbell Hall Falls to LB Poly

The Campbell Hall boys basketball team put up a good fight for a while against Long Beach Poly in a fifth-place semifinal game at the Redondo Union tournament.
However, despite 20 points from junior Aaron Holiday, the Vikings couldn't solve the Jackrabbits in a 56-45 setback.
Campbell Hall pulled to within 27-24 early in the third quarter but surrendered a 10-0 run to Long Beach Poly and had to play catch-up the rest of the way.
Colin Bell made a layup to cut the deficit to 43-37 with 6:11 remaining and sophomore Jordan Cohen made a 3-pointer from the left corner with 3:11 remaining to trim the deficit to three points.
Campbell Hall could not get any closer.
Kameron Murrell scored 20 points, Ke'Jhan Feagin scored 16 points and Chris Sullivan added 10 points to lead Long Beach Poly (2-1). Cohen finished with nine points for Campbell Hall (1-2), which had no players in double figures except for Holiday.
Campbell Hall finishes the tournament Saturday with a 1:30 p.m. game against Compton, a 78-66 winner against Long Beach Millikan.
