Mitty pitcher/first baseman Alex Balog was a fixture on the summer circuit and came away as a top Northern California performer at the Area Code games in August. Now less than a month before the early signing period, Balog has made his verbal commitment to stay in the Bay Area, where he will get to play with his brother.
